CamEye SPORT is just the perfect tool for remote control of digital video cameras with LANC-plug in during sports use. Great for mountain biking, motocross, sailing, surfing and other "hands-free" sports. In combination with an extension cable (see item # 03-04 and 03-05) it does allow to control wing-mounted (air plane) and skid-mounted (helicopter) video cameras as well.
From the little highly sophisticated control unit with the control button and the control-lights, there is one 100 cm wire going out to the LANC-plug. While the video camera is turned on and switched to CAMERA, you can choose between the "RECORD-mode" and the "STANDBY-mode" by simply pressing the little red button in the centre of the control unit. The lights on the edge of the control unit will reliably indicate the current mode of the camera as well as any error (batteries out).

Another important advantage: The SPORT version does also work in the RECORD-mode and can control your camera recorder for example in combination with our new Action Cam!
